On Friday, December 9, at Vin Vin Vin bar, there was a celebration. A somewhat somber but still luminous celebration to honor a bearded giant whose hearty laughter unfortunately no longer echoes in the grand SAQ on Beaubien Street for the past few months. It was the launch of the “Le plan du week-end” vintage from the La Bauge vineyard, in tribute to Michel Beauchamp, a beloved wine advisor currently receiving palliative care.
