The Vineyard of La Bauge, as we know it today, is the result of a succession of ideas, projects, and dreams that originated in the imagination of the Naud Family.
In 2022-2023, a new vineyard plot was established at La Bauge to study the effects of biodiversity in the vineyard environment.

Vignoble de la Bauge Vineyard – Canada’s first vineyard certified in regenerative viticulture

Certified Organic
Since the establishment of an organic plot at La Bauge in 2016, we have been working towards a greener viticulture that ensures the sustainability of our soil health. This allows us to produce quality grapes while respecting our ecosystem. We are proud to soon display the organic certification on each of our bottles.
Animals in the Vineyard
Animals play several roles in the ecosystem of La Bauge. Whether it’s for weeding, combating harmful insects, or fertilizing our soils, they are indispensable in our ecosystem to reduce our use of agricultural machinery and, consequently, our dependence on polluting energies.
Regenerative Viticulture
A new approach where intuition, creativity, and respect for the natural world are paramount and where animals, fruit trees, and insects work together to make our soil more resilient and healthier. It is also a research site where we will study and contemplate the best avenues for viticulture in Quebec.
Natural Wines
Our wines are crafted as naturally as possible, without the use of any oenological products, including yeasts, sulfites, or sugar. Our wines are neither filtered nor fined, resulting in vibrant and authentic wines.
Waste Material Upcycling
In a circular economy perspective, we are committed to minimizing the quantity of waste produced in the vineyard. We repurpose our grape pomace to create a piquette, compost our organic residues, and collaborate with partners whose approach aligns with ours.
Stimulating the Local Economy
The vast majority (over 80%) of our wines are distributed within a two-hour radius of the vineyard. We also prioritize supporting local producers by offering some of their products to visitors at the store during the summer season.

Des félins à La Bauge? 🐅🦁
